The Twin
Palms area of Palm Springs in recent years is experiencing a
resurgence with home values currently priced in the low $600,000s to
high $900,000s. Homeowners and sellers are undertaking
remodeling and renovations of some of the classic Alexander and other
mid-century homes in this South Palm Springs neighborhood that were
built in the 1950s and 1960s. Many homes are situated on large
lots on cul-de-sac streets and enjoy spectacular views of the San
Jacinto Mountains.
Twin
Palms is an interesting Palm Springs neighborhood as there are also
considerably newer modern homes built in the 1980s as well as in
recent years in 2001. In addition to the several Alexander
homes, famous mid-century architects have homes in this neighborhood,
including Palmer-Krisel.
