Morongo Valley
and Yucca Valley Housing Markets!
Excerpts from the Desert Homes
Today Real Estate Blog...
"The
housing market in Morongo Valley and Yucca Valley is
exploding. The least expensive homes on the market in
the area are starting at about $149,000 and these are
"fixer-uppers." One agent has a listing that was
built in 1959 that is currently in the process of some
much needed repairs and upgrades and will be re-listed
at $189,900, so if you're handy, get it while it lasts
and do it yourself and save a bundle. Two-bedroom
homes in the area start in the low $200,000s, and
three-bedrooms in the low $300,000s.
Morongo Valley is great for horse properties, farm
animals, homes with some acreage and living the rural
lifestyle.

If you're looking for something
very special and unique, the most expensive listing in
Morongo Valley is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom at Pierce
Ranch offered at $1,400,000, which is now on the market
(July 2005), previously owned by the Bureau of
Land Management. The current
owners who have owned the home for the last 106 years
and have kept it in the same family say the property has
its own mountain stream and it's nestled in the
mountains of Highway 62.
New homes are being planned right
now and Yucca Valley is convenient enough for those who
are looking for affordable homes that desire to commute
from the Palm Springs area as well as perhaps Beaumont,
Banning and other Riverside County cities.
USDA loan programs
are also available for low
income qualified
buyers." Carey Parker |
