Built in the late 1960s Marrakesh Country Club is one of the oldest country clubs in the desert with 364 homes.  Homes are situated around the golf course and lakes at Marrakesh, located just off Portola in South Palm Desert.  The owners of 2 and 3 bedroom homes on the golf course are built with brick entry courtyards and surrounded by pink stucco walls with glorious mountain views of the Santa Rosa Mountains! The homes on the golf course are sized from about 1,600 to 2,468 sq. ft. and offer double car enclosed garages.  Every owner at Marrakesh is a member of the golf club.  Homeowners assessments are approximately $475 per month at Marrakesh.  Marrakesh is a popular favorite for vacation rentals and some homeowners have upgraded and remodeled their homes, making them available as vacation rentals priced from about $2,200 (non-peak) to $6,000 per month (peak).

The Golf Course

The private 18-hole golf course designed by Ted Robinson, said to be designed for "shot makers" rather than 300 yard drivers. The golf membership is approximately $12,500 per couple.

There are several amenities at Marrakesh, including an on-site clubhouse with restaurant, a fitness center and croquet courts for residents and guests to enjoy.  There are also fourteen pools and spas at Marrakesh Country Club.
