Casa Verde Condominiums
A Centrally Located Condominium Community in Palm Desert
Located in the heart
of Palm Springs, the Casa Verde condominiums is a desirable
complex of condominium homes on Indian lease land. The
current lease expires in about 2067. Located within walking
distance of downtown Palm Springs and the Spa Resort Casino at
Hermosa and Amado Road in central Palm Springs. At Casa Verde
residents enjoy two community pools and spas, tennis and other
recreational facilities including a putting green. Many of
the condominium units have 180 degree views of the surrounding San
Jacinto Mountains and San Gorgonio!
The units are
proportioned well with two bedrooms and bathroom on opposite sides
and patios. Each unit has its own laundry appliance, a
combination washer-dryer unit. The upstairs units have
vaulted ceilings, while the downstairs units have approximately
ten foot flat ceilings. In the Palm Springs condominium
market, some homeowners are rennovating and remodeling units, and
efforts are being made to update these condos which were built in
the mid 1980s. "Popcorn" ceilings are being removed, some

one-bedroom unit (633 sq. ft) to approximately the mid $200,000s
for a two-bedroom home (849 sq. ft) .
Casa Verde's
condominiums are some of the least expensive homes in the central
Palm Springs condo market which makes it very attractive to
first-time home buyers as well as investors. There are newer
developments nearby and adjacent, including Tierra Hermosa where
real estate prices are nearly double the cost of a resale
condominium is this community.
This well-maintained
community with lush landscaping Casa Verde is close to shopping
and restaurants. Homeowners are provided one carport parking
space and there is additional guest parking.
The monthly homeowners assessment is currently
about $190 a month and the lease land fee is about $1144 a year.
This community
is also located within the Palm Springs Unified School District.
