La Quinta Country Club, La Quinta
A country club with history , close to
downtown La Quinta
The homes at La Quinta County Club were originally built in the mid
1970s and 1980s. Now some of
the first- time home owners and newest owners who are buying homes at La
Quinta Country Club are renovating and upgrading the homes, adding
today's modern conveniences and adding such
improvements as the slab granite counters, large ceramic tile flooring,
modern lighting fixtures and outdoor entertainment amenities that desert
residents have really come to enjoy. La Quinta Country Club has a lot of
charm and is found in many of the hacienda and spanish style homes.
The landscaping is mature and there are large old Eucalyptus trees
around the community and on the golf course.
La Quinta Country Club
is within walking distance of the Old Town Village community of La
Quinta. Many of the residents who currently live in this community
have also seen many changes in the last 30 years. Much of the
desert has built up around La Quinta Country Club. You'll find
some of the homes are built on larger lots in this community compared to
some of the neighboring resort communities.
The condominium homes are currently priced from the high $300,000s to $1.75
million plus. Residents
also enjoy a community pools, spa and tennis, and an 18-hole golf course
and the security of a 24-hour private guard. The monthly HOA
assessments range from $300 to about $465 a month.
Located south of Highway
111 with a main entrance on Eisenhower Street just off of Washington
Street, La Quinta Country Club is one of the desert's oldest country
clubs in the desert. La Quinta Country Club is a host course for
the 2007 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic Golf Event. This community is
also located in the Imperial Irrigation District, where residents
generally enjoy lower utility rates than the other utility district in
the county (Edison). Also, children in this community attend the
Desert Sands Unified School District schools.
